Hey Ladies!!
I'm so sorry for the lack of posts...I'm swamped with papers (due tmrw), and I have 2 finals on the SAME day next Tuesday! :'( I apologize for being such a terrible beauty blogger/blogger in general, since I'm still a newbie and am just getting started!
**EDIT**
So, I found out that that was a fraudulent e-mail that has actually been in circulation since last spring. Nordstrom did NOT buy E.L.F. Needless to say, I am pretty upset that I let myself get too excited and didn't bother to research because I thought the e-mail had come from a trusted source: my aunts. I'm in the process of fixing things regarding that transaction. Moral of the story: ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! (regardless of your source...unless it's the direct source!) Moving on...
Here are some posts to look forward to when I'm done with finals:
- Imomoko Haul & Samples swatches
- NYX Haul & Swatches (whenever I get my packages)
- Reviews
So, please bear with me for now and stay tuned! I promise I will post more regularly! xP

New Layout!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS~~~!!!!!! FINALLY, after HOURS upon HOURS of configuring the html coding through numerous amounts of trial and error, between finding the *perfect* photo to work with, and an hour or so in photoshop editing and putting together the banner...I IS DONE!!!!! >:P I still have a lot of details that I'm still picky about, so I will gradually fine-tune those...but for now, I'm done. SO tired...BUT...*evil laugh JUST for Sarah* MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! >:D

My First Beauty-Related Post...
Hello Everyone!!
Thank you for your sweet comments!! They are so very thoughtful and sweet, especially for a newbie to the beauty blogging world like me! :D Thank you for being so friendly, welcoming, and caring! ^_^ I guess you can say I am feeling a little bit better...since the end of school is right around the corner! whee!! I actually still have my project to work on...but I'm going to try to make this a quickie post! :P And I'm also chatting with the sweet & lovely Sarah!! :) *waves*
Okay, so after reading some very convincing reviews on the following products from some beauty-full blogger ladies (in particular, the lovely Fuz and gorgeous Mona), I caved in and bought the L'egere White Multi BB Cream and the Paul & Joe Whitening Serum, as well as the P&J Lipstick in #27 and the P&J LE Lipstick in Opening Night!
Reviews
First up...the L'egere BB Cream.
I'm just going write briefly about what I think about this product and how it works for me and include a before and after picture for comparison. For a more detailed review on this BB cream (with photos of what the actual cream looks like), please read Fuz's post or Mona's review! :)
Here goes....**WARNING: Bare faced picture coming up!!**
Scary, huh? o_O That's me with just my moisturizer on. hehe...so as you can see, I have a very bad case of dark eye circles -___-...I blame college!! :( I also have some redness around my noise, a small scar from a recent pimple on my chin, and some dark spots on the left of my forehead -_______-;; oh, and please excuse my chapped lips! haha @_@
The L'egere BB cream came out of the tube pretty dark, but I was not afraid because it had worked fine for both Fuz and Mona who have the same skin tone as me (MAC NC15-20)! And, as expected, it blended like a DREAMMMM I tell you! The consistency was not liquidy nor was it too creamy--it is somewhere in between like that of a moisturizer, I guess you can say. But here are the results on me!
I was thoroughly impressed with the results, as it was able to provide sufficient coverage for my dark circles and other "problem areas." In this photo, I am wearing just the L'egere BB Cream and MAC Mineralize Blush in Love Rock. :] I guess you can say props goes to the camera flash too @_@ I should have taken a non-flash picture! But the lighting in my room is reallyy dark =/ (I think you can tell by now that i love emoticons!:P ughh...really need to stop...so childish...-__-;;)
My overall rating? ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥!
P&J Whitening Serum & Lippies
Aren't they just beautiful?! I don't think I'm in the right place to review the P&J Whitening Serum yet because I have only used it for about 2 weeks, I think? I will do a more in depth review on it later, from my perspective. So far, my annoying little scar on my chin seems to be lightening up though! :D
Close-up of Lippies
So pretty!!! I used to be a lip gloss-only kind of chick, but I am now proud to be inducted into the wonderful world of lipsticks!! They really do add more **OOOMPH!!** and added color to your lips, and with a coat of a complimentary shade of lipgloss, you get some pretty darn sexy and kissable lips! :P These P&J lippies were really beautiful and glided on like butter! Coverage was nice, even though I have pretty pigmented (red) lips. So, I prefer to wear a lip concealer to nude out my lip color before wearing sheer lipticks.
Swatches
w/o flash
w/ flash
"Opening Night" was a sheer pink shade and #27 was a sheer and sparkly coral, peachy color.
And lastly, to end this entry, here is a pick of all the items together :]
I will post up a pic with me wearing them sometime! I hope you enjoyed my first beauty post! ^_^ Let me know what you think, and I'll try to post more often! :D

Depressed and Unmotivated (for the time being)
I don't know why, but lately I've been under the weather quite often, and it is not too comforting. I did not go to class today and feel like an absolute failure. I have missed Korean class for the __th time now, and I am really worried how it is going to affect my grade. sigh. It's not because I want to be sick...it unfortunately just happens. I am just a person who has a very sucky immune system. Maybe it's due to the fact that I haven't really exercised for 2 years now. However, I do speed walk everyday to and from my classes, and I'm pretty sure all my walking adds up to at least 30 minutes daily (not to mention the times I run to class). Being sick just leaves me very depressed and leads me to feel unmotivated (ironic, because shouldn't a person's need to catch up on work motivate him/her to work even harder and more efficiently?). I guess not, in my case. I want to be happy and carefree again.
On another note, I made kimbap for the first time today with what little ingredients I had in the fridge: bulgogi and eggs with rice and nori of course! To add a little more taste to it, I added a tiny dollop of the bibimbap sauce (red pepper paste?) and sriracha. It was pretty darn good for a "poor version" of kimbap. I will go buy more eggs and veggies so that I can make real kimbap. :) I would have taken pictures of my masterpiece, but I was too hungry and devoured everything. Next time, I'll take pics of the real kimbap!
Time to catch up on my Korean, do the movie review, choose my essay topic, and start a different essay. How exciting.
-Edit-
Here are the pictures as promised! yayy! the first (of many) pictures to my empty blog (hopefully!). These are actually not pictures taken of the "poor version" kimbap I made, since there would be an obvious lack of ingredients. I had to do a video podcast project for my Korean class, and my group and I decided to do a Korean cooking show. haha. It was called "My Korean Kitchen." It has some pretty awesome footage of just my hands cutting the ingredients and cooking and rolling. The close-up shots of the food looked pretty good. Anyway, food pr0n!
Some of the key ingredients: spinach (parboiled), egg omelette (cut into strips), carrots (julienned, then stir fried with a pinch of salt), and pickled radish.
Closeup:
All of them together in a tupperware box (sorry for the bad quality, I took this in class before passing them out) haha:P
